Zoran, I've read this both on aus-cartalk, here and that other mazda forum. Just to re-iterate on what you'll need ozm'ers:

things you would need

- a car to drive around the track in
- a helmet
- long sleeve top, pants & shoes
- & around $100 for the whole day plus fuel

nothing but praise from me...

i'm considering it..for me and my dad. but i'm yet to find out if he'll be back from germany at that stage.

for those i haven't spoken to, i went to a track day with zoran and the mcca.

i had an absolute ball! it was run very well. well organised, great cruise up and back, and i felt that i more than got my moneys worth.

i can only imagine what a full track would be like!

maybe im naive as i have had no track experience before...

but isnt this offer as good as it gets?
it just seems to easy... perfect option that the whole track is hired out all day for the one group... cheap... very little red tape and rules...

For Winton Raceway you will either need a CAMS Level 2S license or AASA club racing license so don't forget to factor that in too.

There will be a couple of EXE people at that event since it's being organised by On The Run Motorsports with the help of EXE, the main guys WOULD be there if it were on any other day but we'll be at another track on that same day!
I think you'll know a few people at the On The Run Motorsports trackday still :)

im debating if i should do it as a CAMS event or not, if it is cams people would need to follow all the cams guidelines which out take some fun out of it & add additional costs to things you will need for the car. I will be talking to the tracks in detail about it & deciding from there.

do we need CAMS?

do you have to do a course?
i got a 'CAMS licence' before going on a PCNSW motokhana meet last year... but i didnt do any course... just paid a few bucks... is this the one or is there a next step?

ok WINTON is NOT CAMS affiliated which is why i chose it over Sandown, it will be run as a fun day so you dont need a AASA license because it wont be a timed event. Everything that i have listed in the "what you will need list" is all you will need at the moment, if things change i will notify people before taking the deposit, but nothing should change regarding licensing at all, thats why this is such a good opportunity for everyone.

as i have this event posted on many different forums i am starting to find it hard to keep up with everything so i have set up a little forum that i will post important updates on & so forth, feel free to post on there & on here as well as im not trying to take anything away from this but just need a center point for this event.

this is the link to it.
http://drivedays.myf...m.org/index.php

one thing i will ask for the purpose of deposits & so forth is that you register & add your details to the contact section so i can start emailing people for all the important stuff, also please keep an eye on it for any new updates.

also if people want to see some of the other events ive organised ive put links up on the same forum :)

oh just in case your name isnt on the list yet please let me know

cheers
Zoran

I've spoken to Zoran about this trackday privately, and he has our full support. I repeat:

things you would need

- a car to drive around the track in
- a helmet
- long sleeve top, pants & shoes
- & around $100 for the whole day plus fuel

Thats cool Sach. I'm resigned to going to that track day by myself. I just want a time on the board, plus it will be good to see the Buddy Club Team cars punting around the track.
