Hi does anyone know where i can find an rx8 with blown or no engine
looking to do a transplant a series 8 rx7 engine and gearbox into it..
also anyone done this conversion before and can tell me the cost?

Note - not legal in Australia, the engine must not be older than the car.

Hi Bud I got a real nice Rx8 sitting in the shed that is due for a rebuild, I have heard of a few guys doing this conversion its not real dear but can be fiddely with the ecu. I was going to do this exact thing but got a company car and lost interest lol.

I have a mate with an RX8 shell, actually used to have a rx7 motor in it, so it has all the mounts ready for FD motor to go straight in. let me know if you're interested.

That is absolutely correct. This conversion is not legal, I've looked into doing this or a 20B conversion, and costs 20- 25K if you don't know people in the trade, you're better off doing a turbo conversion.
